Communicating effectively in today’s global marketplace is vital. I will help you to communicate in French with international colleagues, partners, customers, and other stakeholders.

 
 

Maybe you need French for communicating with the parent company in Lausanne, with a supplier in Lyon, with a factory in Rennes, or for taking up a new role in Nice.

Your course will be designed specifically with your needs in mind so that you acquire the language to be effective in your roles. This will be a customised learning journey that improves communication skills and builds confidence to speak in French. Focus will be on speaking, correct pronunciation some listening.

Sessions are usually weekly 60-minute sessions during the working day and the recommended number of people per group is 4. Please let me know if you would like to have more in the group.

Notes from the session and recordings are provided for instant download so that participants can review the notes of the session.

Lessons will be held at your premises. Travel expenses will be additional.

1 participant sessions:
£40 per hour. £200 for a block of 5 x one hour

2-4 participants sessions:

General Fluency

Choose your own themes that interest you to work on in the sessions. Talk about your family and personal interests. Learn how to talk about things you are passionate about. Discuss news and current affairs.

Pronunciation & Listening

Working on correct pronunciation will help you with understanding and being understood to ensure effective communication. Study vowel sounds and practise linking.

Business Communication Skills

Learn and practise language for writing emails, running a meeting or delivering a presentation.

Socialising

Once the working day is over, feel more comfortable about inviting people to dinner, or accepting and declining invitations. Feel more comfortable in French over an after works drink or an aperitif at somebody’s house. Practise ordering and asking for recommendations in the restaurant.

 
 
 
 

Team building sessions
Learn French while baking

This unique and rewarding team baking session will guarantee fun and memorable moments and is customised to suit each group.  We work on the recipe and create the dish as we are talking and learning. We do language activities around the ingredients and the history of the dish. It’s engaging, inspiring and great fun with a wonderful result at the end. To do this, you and your team don’t need to be fluent in French or great cooks and I can guarantee a great team building session. You source the ingredients, print off the document, work with me on baking vocabulary and the recipe, and bake along with me. I will send session notes and a recording to download following the session

The sessions can be a single event, or a series and the length and frequency of the events will be determined by you. Kitchen hire and ingredients, travel expenses will be additional.

We are currently running these sessions online. We will be transitioning back to face-to-face sessions once government guidelines allow.
